PVD Porchfest is a community music festival featuring musical acts from a variety of genres playing free shows on porches (or driveways or lawns) throughout the neighborhood. Hosts and artists are all volunteering to help bring music to the community.

Live Bait presents our December show, hosted by Choyon Manjrekar at the Artists' Exchange! Doors open at 7:15 with live musical accompaniment from Andrew Arpin, and stories begin at 7:30. The theme? Bananas! What is the first fruit you think of when you see or experience something amazing, funny or just downright absurd? Bananas. They come in bunches, can make for a great meal or snack and are just plain delicious. And the first thing you say when something crazy happens is "Bananas". Come on down to live bait and tell us your stories about times when you just had to say "Bananas". Was this past year for you bananas? Did you see someone or something go bananas? Or did you have a crazy experience when traveling, saw someone doing something funny, saying something ridiculous or just had a plain bonkers experience that made you say BANANAS? Just as bananas can be used in a bunch of different things like bread, candy and ice cream, stories can be as loosely related to the theme as you would like. Make your way to the artists exchange on December 14 at 7:15 and lets go bananas.
